Here’s the challenge:
The CEO had meticulously crafted a forward-thinking corporate strategy. However, this vision remained largely disconnected from the wider business, leaving mid-level management and their teams feeling out of the loop. Basically, the vision and strategy were not landing with the broader employee population.
The risk was clear: without generating buy-in from all layers of the organisation, the strategy was at risk of not being enacted. The size and complexity of the company also demanded a solution to drive deep engagement with the corporate strategy at scale.
Recognising the urgency, the organisation engaged Jarther+ to develop a program to foster an understanding of the strategy and encourage individuals and teams to think boldly and creatively about how they could bring it to life. The goal was to create a sense of ownership and connection across all levels, ensuring that the corporate strategy was not just a top-down directive, but a shared vision embraced and executed by the entire company.

Jarther+ met with stakeholders to grasp the full scope of the challenge, objectives, and the subtleties of embedding the corporate strategy.
With a clear understanding, we crafted a 45-minute workshop-in-a-box designed to empower managers to lead their teams through a series of interactive exercises. These exercises encouraged managers and their teams to reflect on their roles and contributions to the corporate strategy, identify strengths and gaps in their alignment, and generate high-level ideas for bringing the strategy to life.
To ensure managers were well-prepared to lead the workshops, we provided them with a comprehensive toolkit and detailed output collection forms. This allowed them to confidently facilitate the sessions with their teams across ANZ and capture essential insights to feed into their FY25 operational plans.
We strategically coordinated the timing of these manager-led workshops to follow the ANZ FY25 Kick-Off event, which featured a range of inspiring speakers who challenged employees to think boldly and creatively. This timing ensured that the workshops built on the momentum and enthusiasm generated by the Kick-Off.
Throughout the process, Jarther+ remained a steadfast support, monitoring the workshop delivery and ensuring managers had access to the necessary resources and guidance.
Post-workshop, we collected and analysed the outputs, employing a scoring system to measure the levels of connection to the corporate strategy before and after the workshop, as well as the quality of the activation ideas generated.
The culmination of our efforts was an easy-to-consume report for the SLT, summarising the key findings and insights, providing a clear path forward.
